Our story
Hello, we are Amy & James
We founded Woofwolds as passionate advocates for compassionate, transparent, and accredited dog care, combining our backgrounds in advertising, publishing, digital, land acquisition, and development to redefine luxury dog wellness in the Cotswolds.
Together, we bring complementary experience from two distinct worlds. Amy is a proven entrepreneur and innovator with over 20 years’ experience leading growth and transformation across global media, digital, and publishing brands. A former founder of a global community for female entrepreneurs, she has built and led high-performing teams, raised capital, and shaped brands with purpose and integrity.
James, a Chartered Surveyor by trade, brings deep expertise in site acquisition, development, and planning, with a career grounded in sustainability and a lifelong connection to the countryside. Raised on his family’s farm in rural Sussex, his understanding of land and place has been instrumental in creating the home of Woofwolds’ Dog Wellness Club in the heart of the Cotswolds.
Our journey began in the Cotswolds, where our shared love of dogs and countryside living brought us together. Amy had already made the move with her Labradors, Beethoven and Bernard, whose influence shaped the vision for Woofwolds, a place built on trust, care, and community. Together, we set out to create the kind of dog wellness experience we always wished existed. That vision became Woofwolds.
We founded Woofwolds to raise the standard of dog care particularly in areas like dog walking, which remain outdated and unregulated. From our own experiences, we knew how hard it can be to find care you truly trust.
Our promise is simple: we care for every dog as if they were our own and we hold our team to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Whether it’s on-demand walks, luxury daycare, tailored wellness, or expertly delivered training walks, Woofwolds is raising the bar for dog care in the Cotswolds and beyond.
Woofwolds isn’t just a service it’s a celebration of the unique bond between dogs and their humans.
