Our training
At Woofwolds, we believe true wellness for dogs begins with knowledge, consistency, and expert care. That is why every member of our team undertakes a training course with The Dog House, canine centre of excellence.
Our Training Programme
Delivered over three immersive days at The Dog House HQ in Wales, our team’s training goes far beyond the basics. It equips Woofwolds walkers with the tools, instincts, and presence needed to deliver the very highest standards of care, safety, and enrichment.
Our curriculum covers:

Detecting early signs of ailments
Safe public walking and hazard recognition
Basic handling: long sits, doorway & gateway etiquette
Reinforcing positive behaviours with clarity and consistency
Developing leadership presence and ‘dog magnetism’
Safe vehicle entry and exit
Reading body language and emotional cues
Recall training and managing distractions
Iterrupting negative behaviours and applying fair consequences
Why it matters
At Woofwolds, we believe that well-behaved dogs create happier owners, safer communities, and a more harmonious world for everyone who shares it. Good training isn’t just about obedience it’s about confidence, balance, and mutual understanding between dog and human.
Through our partnership with The Dog House, every Woofwolds walker is trained to the highest standard, combining compassion with expertise grounded in decades of behavioural insight. Together, we are setting a new benchmark for trust, safety, and excellence in luxury dog wellness and helping to nurture a calmer, more considerate canine culture across the Cotswolds and beyond.
